About E11 Bio
E11 Bio is building scalable technologies for circuit mapping at the resolution of single cells in mammalian brains. E11’s technology is called PRISM and combines protein barcoding, advanced microscopy, and machine learning to solve critical bottlenecks in connectomics. These advancements aim to unlock transformative opportunities in understanding brain function and disorders.
Capability targets
Scalable mammalian connectomics
Increasing accuracy and bringing down the cost of brain circuit reconstruction to make it feasible to map whole mammalian brains.
Molecular information in connectomics
Adding molecular information to connectomes, such as synapse markers and disease-associated biomarkers, creates new modalities for studying the brain and brain disorders.
Therapeutics and BCI
Unlocking new therapies for brain disorders by restoring healthy connectivity and powering advanced brain–computer interfaces.
NeuroAI and brain simulation
Simulating the brain’s wiring to power brain-inspired AI and advance AI safety
