Kristin is a Partner at Convergent Research, where she helps scientists and ambitious research organizations move ideas toward impact.
Previously a Partner at multibillion-dollar climate and deeptech fund Lowercarbon Capital, she led investments in and served as a board director for companies spanning advanced manufacturing, green chemistry, agriculture, critical minerals, carbon removal, and ecosystem intervention. Her earlier work includes leading science and strategic initiatives at Opentrons, creating a $5 million grant program for 90 international teams at iGEM, and working as an Entrepreneur in Residence at Carbon180. She holds a BS in Biochemistry and Molecular Biology from the University of Alabama at Birmingham.
